Welcome to Cubrienne Rottweilers & Lagotto Romagnolo Website!
We are hobby breeders located in Tucson, Arizona whose main interest is in showing our dogs in AKC events such as conformation, obedience and Rally. We also show our dogs in UKC conformation and obedience as well as USRC (United States Rottweiler Club) Sieger shows and the UCI International conformation shows. We began in rottweilers in 1990, just as they were becoming a far too popular breed. Nineteen years later we’re still in the breed, trying our best to breed healthy, happy, beautiful and intelligent dogs that can be good ambassadors for the breed every place they go!

Please take your time to enjoy our dogs past and present. We’d be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you’re looking for a quality puppy, please be advised that we do not breed often. We have co-bred our last 3 litters with Daviann Mitchell of Nighthawk Rottweilers in California. We are happy, however, to refer you to reputable breeders across the nation whom we have worked with or know well. We are members of the Golden State Rottweiler Club, The Medallion Rottweiler Club, The Colonial Rottweiler Club, The Lagotto Club of America and Old Pueblo Dog Training Club. We are Code of Ethics breeders who test our dogs for Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, Eye Anomalies (CERF), Cardiac and Patella problems.
Since our first dogs began to finish titles in 1995 we have finished over 50 AKC working titles and not just the easy ones! We’ve earned 2 UDXs, 4 UDs, and 6 CDXs along with 2 RAEs, and 6 REs. We have finished 3 AKC Championships and 2 Grand Championships on our own dogs (and have bred another 6 that have become AKC champions). Our dogs (or dogs that we have bred) have ranked in the Top Ten in AKC and UKC conformation, AKC Obedience and Rally Obedience and Carting Tests held by the American Rottweiler Club. We have handled 4 dogs into the Medallion Rottweiler Hall of Fame and several more to MRC’s Honor Roll. And our “Ditto” was the ARC Producer of the Year for 2006 (the Anka Award), when 5 of her 7 puppies finished their championships. In 2008, Ditto was awarded her Bronze Production Award through the American Rottweiler Club. Puppies bred by us have won the Best Senior in Futurity at the ARC Nationals in 2006, and Winner’s Bitch at the Medallion Rottweiler Club Specialty in 2005, multiple Best of Breeds and Group Placements, and numerous V ratings at USRC shows. This is quite a lot considering we’ve only bred 5 litters in 18 years (20 puppies total). We’re very proud of the achievements of our rottweiler kids and their special and dedicated owners.
Our first Lagotto Romagnolo arrived from Switzerland in 2009. Since that time Terzo has become an FCI International Champion (with CACIBS in Germany, Switzerland and Puerto Rico), a Puerto Rican Champion and Grand Champion and has Championship wins toward both his German and Swiss adult championships, is a UKC Champion and Best in Show winner. He is the number one Lagotto Romagnolo in UKC Top Ten points for 2011 (defeated the most dogs of his own breed to win Best of Breed). Terzo is the first Lagotto to earn AKC's RN, RA, and RE titles in Rally, as well as being the first to certify in AKC tracking. He is also an IABCA puppy and adult International champion. Our second Lagotto, "Jetta," was imported from Sweden in early 2012.

No one does this all alone. We’ve been very fortunate to work with some top breeders, trainers and handlers along the way. May of them will appear in pictures on this website. We’re also indebted to some outstanding folks who own our pups. Our thanks to you all.
We have just imported our first lagotto from Susanne Tlach-Egger of Golden Comfort Kennel in Switzerland in May of 2009. Please see our Lagotto page for information about this exciting breed just beginning to be known in the United States.
