About Us:

(Adrienne)

Adrienne Perry has been training and showing dogs since childhood. She completed her first CD at age 13 with her Miniature Schnauzer, Dorovan Rani's Dolly Madison, CD. Spending her teen years in the country, Adrienne was able to indulge many a young girl's dream: horses! When Dolly died suddenly, she shifted her focus to showing quarter horses and pintos. Adrienne came back to the dog show world in 1990. As an adult, she thought that Rottweiler would be the breed for her.

Adrienne was very fortunate early on to have been able to train privately with Kay Guetzloff for about five years while Kay was living in Arizona. And was equally lucky to have an outstanding Rottweiler, Melissa, with whom to train and compete. Melissa taught Adrienne much about training, showing and trusting her instincts. They competed together for 6 years attaining honors and titles she'd only dreamed about. Without Kay and Melissa . . . well, Adrienne would be a very different dog trainer today!

She finished approximately 42 AKC titles on 12 dogs since 1990. This includes: 2 UDXs, 3 UDs, 6 CDXs, 5 REs and the first RAE of any breed in the state of Arizona. She competed on 2 WIOC (Western International Obedience Competition) Teams (2001 and 203) with 3 different dogs, representing the state in all three levels, and had numerous dogs ranked in the American Rottweiler Club Top Ten standings in Obedience and Rally. She has also achieved numerous High in Trial and High Combined Awards at all breed AKC Shows.

Adrienne is continuing her ongoing education by taking seminars with Connie Cleveland, Sylvia Bishop and Louise Fox Meredith. Currently, she is working long distance with Chris Bach on becoming a certified Third Way Trainer. For more information about Chris's work, go to: www.trainthethirdway.com

Adrienne is also the author of "Fetching a Life with Your Dog" published by Gulf Publishing 1999; and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT)

(Cubby)

Cubby Lash started training with the family dog, Ginger back in junior high. Ginger's "tour de force" was climbing a ladder and going up on the roof. . . much to the chagrin of cable guys, roof repair men and neighbors! Ginger followed by Vince, the wonder Schnauzer who went to formal obedience class to get him under control. Cubby started showing dogs in 1995 piloting 'Cleo' V-2 CH TBM Cleo Laine to her CD as well as to her BT and TT titles. In 2006, Cubby started showing again, this time with 'Cindi' a then 8 year old Rottweiler, who had been enjoying her retirement. They earned their RN and RA together and were in training for Open before Cindi's passing. Cubby was also the handler for 'Ricey', a French Bulldog owned by Alexandra Vorbeck. Ricey earned her RN and TT titles with Cubby on the other end of the lead.
