MRC Hall of Fame, ARC Versatility Excellent Eligible, Top Ten in Rally Novice (2006), Top Ten in Carting Intermediate (2010)
Award of Merit Winner, the first G Ch/UD Rottweiler in History, the first G Champion/UDT of ANY Breed.
Franklin’s show career has been exciting to say the least. He showed and had wins or placements at almost every large Rottweiler specialty in the country during 2005-2006, including Medallion Rottweiler Club, Colonial Rottweiler Club, Dogwood Rottweiler Club (BOSS in Sweeps), Golden State Rottweiler Club, Southern Counties Rottweiler Club (Reserve Winners Dog at 13 months) and the American Rottweiler Club Nationals where he was awarded Best Senior in Futurity. Franklin earned the majority of his points with Perry Payson (with able assistance from Lacey Wisler), his first 2 points were in the Bred by Exhibitor class with co –breeder Daviann Mitchell. Lacey finished Franklin by going Best of Breed over 2 specials from the 12-18 month class! In Fall of 2010, Franklin started work on his Grand champion title while showing for his Utility dog (UD) title and training in tracking. His Grand was started with Shawna Swanson, and then he was able to pair up with his old friend, Lacey Wisler to finish the title. He earned multiple group placements while earning his UD and TD (Tracking Dog) titles. A working dog who actually works, he also earned his carting titles CS (Carting Started) and CI (Carting Intermediate) in 2010 as well. Though not campaigned or advertised, he has defeated some of the top ranked rottweilers in the country. He is currently training for his TDX and his CX (Carting Excellent-Driving) and will be shown as a special by Lacey on a limited basis throughout the year.
Franklin is available at stud to OFA/CERF bitches of merit, with special consideration to titled bitches. He is a small yet substantial male, with moderate angulation, a beautiful shoulder, hard and flat topline and croup and beautiful driving movement. He has a lovely temperament and lives without problems in a multiple dog household with other male dogs. He has a beautiful and deep pedigree that features some of the top producing dogs and bitches of the last 20 years. His entire litter cleared OFA hips, elbows, and cardiac and produced 4 champions (of 5 puppies).
