Terzo comes to us from Switzerland and breeder Susanne Tlach-Egger of Golden Comfort Kennel. His mother, Klea, was the first International Champion Lagotto in Switzerland. His father is the son of the famous International Champion Comes Cordis Allegro. We imported him to do obedience, rally and agility. He is also learning to track. We are proud to bring these bloodlines and their depth of health clearances and conformation champions to the states to help establish this rare breed.
Terzo is currently being shown in UKC and IABCA conformation events and AKC obedience and Rally events. In the United States, he is the first Lagotto Romagnolo in AKC history to earn the RN (Rally Novice) and RA (Rally Advanced) titles in Rally and the BN (Beginning Novice). He is currently the Number 1 Lagotto in the UKC Top Ten standings for 2011, where is a Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show and Multi Group Winner. He has also won the Best Rare Breed in Show in IABCA shows. He is also the first lagotto to be tested by the American Temperament Test Society (ATTS).
In the Fall of 2010, Terzo returned to Europe where he showed at the Raduno di Romagna Bagnara in Italy(the biggest show in the world for this breed) and was rated V (Excellent, the highest rating) from the Intermediate class. The following weekend he was awarded 2 CACIBs at the International show in Lausanne Switzerland. The following weekend he earned the CACIB at the International show and a CAC at the National Show in Stuttgart Germany. He has finished 1/2 of the wins required for his Swiss championship, 2/5 of the wins for his Germany championship, and 3/4 of the CACIBs in 2 of the 3 required countries for his FCI International championship. We hope to show Terzo in Fall 2011 in Puerto Rico to finish his FCI Championship and return with him to Italy, Switzerland and Germany in 2012.
Terzo is OFA Good, OFA elbows Normal, Cardiac clear (echo), Patella normal, CERF, and BFJE clear
Terzo is available for stud service to females who have OFA normal hips, CERF and a known BFJE status as well as whose owners have followed the Lagotto Club of America (LCA) Health Practices and Code of Ethics."

Terzo finished his RA and BN the same weekend in April. In six runs (3 legs for each title) he won 4 of his classes, and placed 2nd and 3rd for the other two legs! |
